Edward has been a PHP programmer since the 2004, and is the author and lead developer of the project HTML Purifier, an standards-compliant anti-XSS HTML filter.
When not programming, Edward can be found playing oboe, singing or jogging. He will be matriculating this fall at MIT and hopes to study Course Six (Computer Science).
I first started programming for a website my friends and I made for (drum roll) creative writing. The website didn't stick around, but the programming did, and after many years of contributing to the open source world, I'm quite happy to be working at OmniTI, along with the giants of PHP.
