After serving as an intelligence specialist in the US Air Force from 1990 to 1997, Paul Jones completed his bachelor’s in management information systems at the University of Memphis in 2000.
He began working with PHP in 1999. Since then, he has earned international recognition as an expert in PHP and is Zend-certified in both PHP 4 and PHP 5.
Paul is the lead developer of several well-known open source projects, including the Savant template system and the Solar Framework for PHP 5. Paul was an early author of core Zend Framework packages and currently serves as an elected member of the PEAR Group.
